Six off 150 kN Mooring winches with unique waterfall configuration to save deck space. The winches have 500 kN manual band brakes and full de-clutcheable drums to allow anchors to be positioned by powered vessel. The 6 point mooring system is direct electric drive with full variable speed control. The control is either a 25m wired pendant or radio control. Each winch will hold 300m of 32mm wire rope and is finished in a combination of Galvanized, Zink-Aluminium Metal spray and epoxy marine paint. Rollers on the front of each winch guides the ropes closer to deck level for operator safety.
