Australian Certified Winches is a privately owned company located in the Brisbane / Gold Coast corridor in Yatala, Queensland.

Owner and manager Mr Grant Barrett, started working with winches as a first year apprentice fitter and turner at Jaden Engineering. Kicking off his career in the early 90’s, after 17 years Grant carried through to Operations Manager.

Jaden Engineering designed and manufactured heavy industrial and marine winches and were hydraulic and general engineers.

The following 4 years were spent in the hydraulics industry as Manager of Berendsen service department, then 4 years designing and manufacturing custom winches for HES Winches.

Following his love & passion for custom made winches and machinery, Grant started his own company Australian Certified Winches. With his main focus being on supplying Quality Australian manufactured products delivered with all the required documentation and certifications.

With a small team working round the clock, Australian Certified Winches is committed to designing & building reliable & trustworthy products.
